I hope this gets resolved as I know myself and others are also having this same problem. We've never had this issue until 1-2 months ago. It is not the internet connection, it is nothing to do with this. My friend have re-downloaded and installed Discord to still continue to have this issue.įor some odd reason, when you start a screen share, it does go to normal quality of which option you select, after 1-2 seconds it is completely pixelated. It seems like when the cursor was gone, it created the very low resolution screen share problem.

In addition to this problem, there isn't a mouse cursor either, the only way I can tell where someones mouse is when it highlights over something interactive. This is not just an issue for myself, this is an issue I have with all of my friends who helped me test this issue. If you turn to 720p-30FPS or even 1080p, it's acting as if it is less than 144p quality, which is very, very bad. It's frustrating, it is completely unwatchable. I have been waiting for a fix for a while now and still have not had this issue resolved. So when I turn on screen share at 480p-15FPS, 720p-15FPS, 480p-30FPS, 720p-30FPS on Application Window or just "Your Entire Screen", no matter what, I have this very pixelated quality resolution as I am screen sharing. It still has not been fixed and I've seen other posts on Reddit about this same issue, no one replies about how to maybe fix the issue on those posts. This has been an ongoing issue for around a month or two.
